My all time favorite patterns..........and a giveaway!

I have a few patterns that are definitely my favorite. I love all of my patterns, but these three patterns are the ones that make me extra happy. I look at my quilt samples often, and these three always stick out to me. So, I thought it would be fun to share with you what my favorite Green Fairy Quilts patterns are.

Butterfly Mania - I just love this quilt because of the happy butterflies and the bright colors. I love bright quilts.

Checkered Flowers - This quilt is probably my all time favorite pattern, it's easy because it is strip pieced and fun with the flower appliques, but I think I like it the most because I love purple. Purple was my favorite color as a child, that has since changed because I do tend to love green (I wonder why?) but it reminds me of some of my favorite things as a kid - flowers and purple.

Morning Bloom - This is one of my newer quilt patterns, I love the colors, can't go wrong with pink and green right? The piecing is easy and the applique even easier because it has the ragged effect. I just love this quilt!

So, here is my last kit of "Morning Bloom" and I think it would be fun to give it away to someone who really wants it. After all it is one of my favorite quilts and it would be fun for someone to make one just like mine. The kit includes the pattern, and everything for the top of the quilt and the binding.

All you have to do to enter my giveaway is to hop on over to my website on my pattern page, click here, and tell me which three patterns are your favorites. Tell me why you think you need the quilt kit more than any other person that enters and I will announce a winner on Tuesday night next week! Good luck everyone. Oh, and before I forget, you get 10 entries if you blog about my giveaway!

I love Strippin Time, Morning Bloom, and Layers of Love. This quilt kit needs to come live with me because I have THREE friends having little girls this spring, and I'm running out of ideas for little girl quilts!!

Hello Judy, it's hard to choose from your patterns, but my favorites are: Butterfly Mania, Morning Bloom and
Life of a Snowman Wall Hanging Pattern, I'd like to be the lucky winner, because where I live it's hard (almost impossible) to find quilting supplies, and if you have the luck to find anything it's hyper expensive, that's the reason I NEED and WANT the quilt kit more than any other person that enters, :)and having some of your patterns I know it'll be unique on here!, I promise I'm going to blog about it later on today, -sad- because I'd like to have the patterns for me!!!

My three favourites are,

1. All boxed in
2. Strip this Quilt
3. Strippin' Time

I just love them all so much it was very hard to pick only 3!

I would love to have your quilt kit because I'm really new to quilting and I haven't had a lot of experience and I also don't have much of a stash, so when I buy a pattern generally I have to buy the fabric to go with it. So right now kits are the way to go.

I also think it's amazing the work you do with children in Romania... and today even before I knew you were doing a giveaway, I did a blog post about your store and the positive experience I've had there so far!!!

Doina said...

Great giveaway!I like - Butterfly Mania, Liliana's Heart and Autum Harvest Wall Hanging Pattern. In Romania the quilting is not too familiar. We have not specialized stores. It could be my first pattern.

Hi Judi,
I love most of your patterns just need time right?! OK so here is my list...I've told you the tote many times over so I'll keep to that one right off, Frame This and I'm going with Paisley Park because I did buy and make that one and it was fun and easy!!
Now why do I want this other kit you ask? Do I need it? NO Would I make it? You betcha!! I made Paisley Park for sis and it was wonderful to have the whole kit to just dig into and complete! I WANT to do the same with Morning Bloom and keep this one for myself!

Forgot to mention your on my blog with reluctance but this will spread like wild fire anyway. Tee Hee

I love all your quilt patterns! My favorites are Strippin' Time, Craisy Daisy and Butterfly Mania. I NEED to get this kit so that I can make my FIRST quilt EVER. I have been dying to make a quilt, but don't know where to start. This would give me a GREAT place to start. Have a Happy Day!

My three favorites are Checkered Cherries, Checkered Tote and Strip This Quilt. I would love to win your quilt kit because I have never tried one of your patterns before, but from what I hear, they are fabulous. Another reason is that I don't have any good quilt shops close-by (Joann's doesn't count!) and I have such a hard time picking out fabrics that go together. At least with this pattern and fabric, I know the result would be wonderful. Thanks for the chance!

I would love to win this giveaway because I just got a new sewing machine after a 15 year hiatus and would love to have this kit to jump start my renewed love of sewing.

All Boxed In, Fun With Triangles, and Quilts Within a Quilt. Now -

Why should I win thee? Let me count the ways.
I love fabric to the depth and breadth and height
My fingers can touch, when feeling out of sorts
From the ends of Selvages and ideal patterns.
I love fabric to the level of quilter's
most quiet need, by sun and lamplight.
I love fabric freely, as quilters strive for perfection;
I love fabric purely, as quilters turn from praise.
I love fabric with a passion put to use in all my frustrations, and with my childhood's faith.
I love fabric with a love I seemed to lose with my lost hobbies - I love fabric with the breath, smiles, tears, of all my life! and, if God choose, my family shall love my fabric better after I die, for those that die with the most fabric wins!
(My very deepest apologies to Elizabeth Barrett Browning)

I love all of your patterns and often browse through them wishing I could buy another one. I think my favorite right now is Morning Bloom and I would LOVE to win that kit you are giving away! You have such a great shop and I appreciate all of your creativeness!

It is sooo hard to choose my favorites. I would make the quilt and donate it to my church's Hugs Ministry. We pair the quilts with stuffies and give them to the local fire department to give to kids in crisis situations. Thank you for the opportunity to win this beautiful kit. Take care and God bless, Cory

Mary Burn said...

We make quilts for our new babies in our church -- also, quilts for preemies at local hospital. I would use the Morning Bloom kit to make one of these. My other favorites are Butterfly Mania and Crazy Daisy. Thanks for including me in your giveaway.

Anonymous said...

Grandmas'Trellis is still my favorite! I love Judi's Album and Morning bloom too though you make it very hard to pick just three with your talented designs!

I would love to win because it would be fun!! Also with the kit maybe I would actually get a quilt made- I keep procrastinating as it seems just so difficult trying to figure out all the colors and fabrics!

Rebecca said...

I love those three too! Some more of my favorites are Stars and Stripes, the Turtle Walk, and Strippin' Time. I'd love to win this quilt because I have three girls and this would look great as a wallhanging in their room or as a lap quilt on one of their beds. Thanks for the chance!

I love all the quilts and its so hard to choose. I like Quilted Memories, All Boxed In and Butterfly Mania...

I would love to win. I want to learn to quilt. I have bought books and books and still haven't tried. Just thinking about picking out the colors that would go together scares me. I want to make a quilt for my granddaughter and grandson so that they can remember me when i'm gone. So thanks so much for giving me a change to win this kit.

In no particular order, I like Summer's End, Daphne's Garden Quilt, and Morning Bloom. But all your patterns are nice. However, I especially enamored of your quilting. It's amazing how much detail you put into each quilt, and amazingly beautiful!

The 3 patterns I like most are Stars and Stripes, Life of a Snowman, and Grandma's trellis.
The reason I would love to win this quilt is because pink and green are my favorite colors and I love to do applique.
Thanks for letting me play along.

Judi, I love this... all... but if you let me choose I love the Morning Bloom..... 'cos I am giving this to my dearest daughter's birthday this coming February.

Gee, I have to narrow it down to three?! I love Butterfly Mania and am collecting fabric to make it for my granddaughter's birthday. I like Autumn Harves. I have a real weakness for autumn and the colors associated with it. I also like Brown and Pink Spring. I would really like to win this quilt bz for the next two years I won't have any money to buy much fabric and I need a new project or two to keep me busy while my son is gone for that time! I'm not trying to pull the sympathy card though bz I also really like the colors of the quilt and the pattern. Wish me luck, lol!

hOLA HE VISTO TODOS SUS PATRONES, ES DIFICIL DECIRLE CUALES ME GUSTAN MAS, PERO ESTOS TRES SON LOS QUE ELEGÍ: BUTTERFLY MANIA POR LA BELLEZA Y EXPLOSION DE COLORES, LUEGO FLIG OF A FAIRY POR EL MOVIMIENTO QUE SUGIERE LA IMAGEN. Y POR ULTIMO SAIL AWAY, POR LOS MOTIVOS MARINOS, ES HERMOSO.
POR QUE ME GUSTARIA GANARLOS PUES PORQUE ES LA UNICA OPORTUNIDAD DE TENER PATRONES Y DISEÑOS ORIGINALES, NI HABLAR DELOS COLORES Y CALIDAD.

It's hard to choose just 3 favorites bu my three favorite-est are Rick the Rack, Piecemaker's Dream and Checkered Flowers. A great bunch of patterns and so versatile. Why should I win? I love pink and green, I've never made anything pink and green, and since it's a crazy time of year for me (my baby moved across country to LA and I MISS him!) maybe something pink and green and beautiful would be just the thing to work on.

Greetings from Albany, Western Australia. I really like your Autumn Leaves wall hanging - probably because we don't have a Fall here in WA - all evergreens - but I love the Autumn colours. I also like the checkered tote and the checkered flower quilt pattern 'cos they just look like fun. I would really like this kit - I have never made a quilt from a kit and would love to have a go. With five kids, cost is a big issue so would be a great opportunity for me. Thanks for making this possible. Sam s.downes@murdoch.edu.au

2. My BFF is having her second daughter in December and the quilt would make a great gift!

All your patterns are beautiful and choosing one is a very difficult choice.

Why do I need a quilt kit more than any other entry? The quilt will go to a child in Guatemala. My quilt friends and I are missionaries to Guatemala and we don't have a 'quilt budget' and rely completely on donations of everything to quilt with (material, thread, machines, etc). Our quilts are made up and it would be a firat to have and use a real pattern with matching fabric. That would be awesome!
