Week 4 Flower Patch Quilt Along - giveaway for participants too!

Flower patch quilt along
Okay, I am loving the red, grey and turquoise blocks.  So cute!  It is so fun putting these flower blocks together. I have a total of 7 flower blocks done and will probably get 3 done next week.  If you've just started, that's okay - this is a no pressure quilt along.

Block 5
If you have been following my Flickr group, you will see the cute flower blocks popping up everyday.  The colors and the variations of the fabrics used are so fun!  You can join the Flickr group here.
.
Block 6
Thanks to everyone who is playing along, if you have already joined, and I can verify that you have - please leave me a comment to be entered to win a $15 gift code to our website. Just let me know what stage you are at in the quilt along ;-)

Block 7
Good luck everyone!  Thanks so much for your participation.  I cannot wait to sew more of these blocks together, the quilt top is going to be so cute!  Then onto the quilting!  Should be fun! For those who want to still join in, the PDF pattern can be found here.

We also have our huge summer sale going on right now in the shop. Visit one of our precut pages, like our Jelly Rolls to see the savings!!

Love your colours. I have been posting my two-a-week flowers with the flicker group - using Boho and shot cottons.

I pieced 6 flowers and 4 mini-flowers into a top for a baby quilt and posted the photo in the flickr group (flickr name: quilts by lisa). I plan to make a bigger version of the quilt as soon as I finish a few other projects. Love that this is a no pressure QAL.

I have six flowers completed so far! Loving the Flats fabric I bought!! Just too bad it takes so long for stuff to come from the USA.

zSo far all I've done is buy the pattern and precuts (from you) and got my background fabric. But I just retired, so I'm planning on some more progress soon!

I have six flowers done so far, on the flickr page. I am using all scraps, including some really oldies (1986-7) to make this a cuddle quilt for my granddaughter. So much fun!

Please don't enter me cuz I have a stash of fabric that is almost scary.

But I just wanted to comment that I love this color combo.

I saw it in someone's sidebar and came by to see it more closely.

Really neat!

Hi Judi,

This morning I got the fourth block finished. Hopefully I will take some pictures tomorrow. (Today I got busy with sewing some shirts for me... ;) )

It's so fun to sew these blocks. I think I will spend the next evenings to cut out the pieces for some more blocks so I can sew whenever I have time...

Thanks for this "quilt-journey". :)

Hi Judi, I am waaaay behind and only just decided on the fabric... I have been hoarding my favourite line of all time... Momo Wonderland, since 2009 and never did I find a pattern 'good' enough for it. I haven't been able to dare to cut into it...but I am thinking of using the layer cake and jelly roll of wonderland I have. Question is, do I dare? I have bought the pattern and read the instructions so once I get a bit of time together I will get to the cutting table. Thanks for a lovely quilt along!

So far I have 4 blocks cut out. No sewing yet. Good old summer is getting in the way. I think I squeeze 9 months of work into 3. Yikes, it goes by fast. Maybe tonight I can sew. Fingers crossed.

I love your red, gray, and turquoise combinations as well. I am using honey, honey and have posted 9 of my 10 finished blocks in the flickr group under the name keeping in stitches. My daughter picks out the fabric combinations I am using, so we are having fun together this summer already!

I absolutely love that color combination. I just need to pick fabrics and get busy!!!!

Yes, I love the red and turquoise too! I'm playing along and having lots of fun with my Garden Song fabric. I've got 7 1/2 blocks done at this point. I'll be posting another picture on the flicker group this week. I'm "timberlands" on Flicker.
Thanks for offering the giveaway!

I am definitely quilting along although I only have one block finished. I couldn't believe it took me 2 1/2 hours! But to my defense it was my first time with flying geese and they actually turned out. Yea! I was slightly proud of myself for that. I am using the Bonnie & Camille's Vintage Modern collection. This quilt will look perfect in my bedroom when finished. I am even going to paint the room I think. Well thanks again for a great giveaway and "push" to try new things! I just so love love love that flats collection you are using! I almost used that myself! I am posting in the flickr group under "Melia Mae Quilting".
