Giveaway!
So the self-indulgence has been fulfilled--I made myself this bag! I love it! Yahoo, I can't wait to tote it around! I quilted the large print and realized that I had enough of it to get two bags, so I couldn't help myself making two. I worked on this project late last night until 1:30! I shouldn't stay up that late, but I had Sense and Sensibility and Persuasion to keep me happy! Got to love it!
Check this out, I even made sure to have the handles match up with each other. Sometimes I think I have a little OCD going on, but I have to have things looking great. So, here's the deal. I made two bags, one for me and one for someone else! Read on to find out how you can win one of my bags!
See this cute bow? My sister Jen made it! She is the best and has the cutest website! She sells the best and cutest bows and some darling dresses. She is going to throw this cute bow and headband into my giveaway! So, a bag and a bow are up for grabs and two lucky winners will be pulled randomly on Friday! So hurry and enter. Here's the thing, go and check out Jen's site here and then come back and tell me what your favorite thing is on her site. That's all you have to do to get one entry. If you do want five entries then go tell your friends, blog about it and be sure to tell me!
Go be Jen's fan on facebook here and check out her blog here! And with this giveaway Jen is giving a 25% discount on your entire order off her website if you enter "greenfairy" during checkout!
So, good things here, I know this is a quilting blog, but surely you have granddaughters, daughters, cousins and neighbor girls that are in need of the dang cutest bows ever! So go check it out and come back and enter the giveaway.
If you are wondering, I used my "Quilted Bag" pattern to make my two bags, I just used two colors instead of five and didn't piece the main part of the bag, so if you want to make your own you can get the pattern here! You just need 1 yard of cute big print fabric and 1 1/2 yards of the trim and lining! (Plus batting and lining for the quilting)

Am I the first?, number one never wins, oh well... Jen's really talented I love her store, love the colors she uses to design the gorgeous goodies, I adore the colors of Brown and Stripes Double Hair Bow, wow, it's really pretty, and I love your bag as well, lol
Jen has some beautiful items for sale. I absolutely ADORE the Midnight Blue and Velvet dress. I know a little girl that would be adorable in it!
And, I really, really like your bag. Too cute!
I posted a link to your give away on my blog.
I love that bag!
Jen does have some adorable things in her shop. I think my favorite is the pink dress with polka dots, my little princess would adore it!
too many cute things, loved the neopolitian polka dots korker flower bow. I book marked this for further review. Thanks for sharing Claudia
I Love her site, read it a lot. I particulary like the bows on the head bands. Never connected you two as sisters! I have 1 grandaughter 9 years old and 9 grandsons ranging from 24 down to 8. Katie absolutely will not wear bows or anything girly, yet she is a petite little blond. I keep hoping!!!!!
I just love haylees gingham and black bow!! I REALLY love the bag in this giveaway I soooooo hope i win this it is just darling thank you for such a wonderful blog and the great things you do.Good luck to everyone

Thank you for sharing Jen's wonderful web site! I love the ivory toddler dress! With 3 girls I can't keep up with the hair bows and ponytails! hehe I make some simple dresses and skirts for them to wear since my two older ones like to match sometimes and now with a 9 month old, I'm going to be busy this spring! haha The hairbows would make the outfits complete!
The quilted bag is adorable! I love anything homemade and use them over any name brand out there! Good luck to everyone!
I love Jen's blog. I especially liked the Apple Green, Brown, Hot Pink, white woven headband. I also really love the bags you made. That is a really attractive look from your pattern. Thank you for your give away.
I loved Jen's site. I have grad daughters that will look just beautiful in all of her things. Can not wait to see them in some.
Sorry I need to use my son's account name to post here (he will be so excited to find out tomorrow :) but what I love about Jen's bows is she just knows how to put those colors together! I have one of her bow and it is made to last. She is very detail oriented and her bow constructions are well thought out. I must say that her models are pretty darn cute, too. :)
One of the best things about reading your blog is the opportunities to read about the new projects you're working on and the chance to check out new products from other talented artists. Your sister definitely has a wonderful talent - thank you so much for sharing her website. Her "Classic Bows" would be so cute with any little girl's outfit to be sure, but I think they would also add a beautiful finishing touch attached to a bag like the one you made for yourself.
What A Cute bag! -- The quilts on your site are amazing!!! & Jen - I just love her & everything she does!!! -- I got a dress from her a few years ago and my daughter has finally grown out of it.... so I think right now I love -- Brown and Mocha Dress or,.... Miss Amanda's Collection in the starter sets... so many good colors! Thanks for a great give away!
Well I popped on in here this morning to check on ya and I see one of your totes that I've been after up for grabs! Could it be? It is early...blurry eyes but as I read it is true...Woo Hoo! However, must go over to Jen's to see what I like there....I did...and come back sadly....I wanted a little girl (got two boys) and someday...someday I just know a little grand daughter will be in my life. All that girly stuff was a big tease for me! Hee!! I love it all!! In hopes of scoring an extra ticket I'm putting this on my blog for you both! Hugs!!
I love that pink dress with polka dots.
Thank you for the chance to win. The fabric is lovely.
I love the woven headbands. Thanks for the chance!
Delicate Pink and Brown Small Stack

Such cute things at All Things Ribbon!! My favorite is the Black and Light Pink Korker Flower!!

I like the Ballerina Korker flower, lovely color and just so cute!! I will be emailing my friends in the neighborhood about her site.
O.K so trying to make it hard for me...This is the untalented sister who owns almost every bow Jen has and desperately needs a new bag....Help me out you two..If I had to pick my favorite bows, it would be the too cutes...Love being related to such talented ladies...I am going to go play some sports...amy
Love the korkers, especially the hot pink ballerina one. They are all so cute. It makes me wish my 2 daughters were small again. I had to laugh at her daughter not wanting her hair "done". I remember those days well. I had a couple of tomboys and after they were 3--I could no longer do their hair. Love the bag--really cute. I have been going to make myself a bag, but have been doing BOM blocks instead.
Cute bags! The stack bows are so cute -- wish my girls were little again.
Judi, I was awake last night at 1:30, must have gotten your vibe of how cute and excited you were about the bag! I love that you did something for yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What cute things your sister has on her website. The bows are darling. But I have to say that my favorite is the pink crochet hat. So sweet, and adding a bow to it would make it beyond cute :-) Thanks for the link!
I loved her crocheted head bands. They were so original and cute.
I love your quilting. You are an inspiration.
Cute bag and cute hair accessories.
The mini hairbows are adorable.

Oh, Oh, Oh - I love that bag!! And thanks for directing us to your sister's website - wow! I just love her hair bows - especially the holiday ones! Too bad my daughter is 12 now and probably wouldn't wear these :-(
You guys are amazingly talented. I love it! I check your sisters stuff all the time and she has some cute bows. But I love the Zebra bling hair bow. SO CUTE!!! Thanks so much for being so inspiring.
I blogged about ya and will spread the news on FB. Thanks again
Your sister huh? I use to subscribe to her site, but unsubbed after awhile. I just don't think to order bows for the granddaughters. I visited and really liked the Patriotic Stacked Flower bow. With the right outfit, that would be so cute this summer!
Jen has some really cute bows!!! I really like the crochet hat/bow combo. They are so perfect for my girl who was born with hardly any hair and at 2 still doesn't have enough for bows.
And your bag is so cute! I'm a big fan of that fabric. I had some in my stash for a while.
My favorite thing on Jen's blog is the Snowflake Flower Stack. It is adorable. I would really like to see one in person. But, since I live close to her, maybe I can.
Your sister has some really cute things! I like the hats with the big flowers. Your bag is darling.
Judi,
I love Jen's neopolitian polka dots korker flower bow. Your bags are darling.
I posted about your giveaway in my blog: www.sweetersweater.blogspot.com.
The Dusty Rose and Brown flocked dress is to die for!
Wow, such talented sisters! I think my daughter would just love the streamer hair bows. I think the little mini ones are cute they look like little dragonflies.
Love it! I'm going to head over and check out your sister. I have a granddaughter and a new granddaughter on the way so we can always use bows! How fun also that you found time to make something for yourself! It's kind of funny but I just posted purses today that I made for my girls. I really want to sit down and make myself one but that will have to wait a minute or two while I paint and move my sewing room. Yay! I can hardly wait to have all my sewing stuff out of the family room! :)
I love the crocheted headbands...She has a lovely site.
Thanks for the giveaway!Your bag is awesome!
Micki
I love the mediums... They work so well with just about everything!
Pick me pick me!!!
I love this tote!! Jen's bows are GORGEOUS!!! I really liked her Carnival of Colors Small Stack Hair Bow, very fun and youthful!! I wish I would had a site like this when my daughter was little!! Thanks for the opportunity to win some of yours and your sister's great handiwork!!
Nici
That bag is adorable. Everything on Jen's site is just too cute. I really liked the Ivory Flowers Crochet Hat Set. My twin girls are really into the "hat stage". They'd love it.
Your sister Jen has a great site. I love the dresses, especially the Little Sister Dress - the pink one with the pink dots! My little girl saw me looking at it and said, "Ooh! So cute!" (She's 4. Does it come in size 4?). Your bag is so fun too! Thanks for sharin' the love!
I love the classic bows. And all the polka dot bows! very cute!
And your bag is adorable. My sister emailed me about your bag. Wouldn't it be cool if I won instead of her?! haha.
what fun to share such craftiness and creativity with your own sister! Princess in Pink Small Stack Hair Bow would make my princess happy! its my favorite too. Thanks fo ra chance.
I love the little bows that look like dragonflies. I don't have a little one that can use them now...or else I'd be sewing doll clothes. I love sewing doll clothes.
Judi, you're funny! I had not even noticed that the fabric on the handle matched up until you pointed it out! What a generous giveaway and I'd love to be entered.
Ooooh! You both are so creative! Since I can't wear bows in my hair I checked out the dresses. Pink and brown is one of my favorite color combos, so I love the pink and brown dress in the Megan's Dress Closet category.
Sandy A in St. Louis
wow, she has so many cute things it is hard to know where to begin... I do love the Princess in pink small stack bow though, so that would probably be my first pick!

mystica123athotmaildotcom
I really like the brown and mocha dress - too cute! But alas, I am a mother to only boys! Probably better for my pocket book that way!
I think all of the bows are really cute, but I have 5 small granddaughters with fine hair so I'm looking at the crocheted headbands as my favorites! I hate to see hair in their faces, and these should stay put!
I have 4 granddaughters and a fifth one on the way, so my favorite thing about Jen's site is the fact that those adorable dresses come in sizes to fit everyone!!! AND they have matching hairbows! What a time saver for busy a busy Grammy!!
As our daughters did not grow hair until they were toddlers, the headbands (pink gingham and crochet) caught my eye. The dresses were really nice as well.
Love the bag you made!

I love, love the polka dot hair bows, especially the brown and blue. Of course, my dd doesn't have all that much hair yet (and when she does, it will be like mine, the bane of hair clips) so, if I were actually shopping, instead of daydreaming, I'd go with one of those cute crochet hats.
what a talented family! i love the stackers.
