Little Quilting Projects.

I have been busy doing little quilting projects. These sweet quilts were put together by Kathy, she works at Scrap Apple Quilts. The quilts are for twins, I can't believe how cute the quilts turned out, but you could quilt these anyway and it would still be cute because the fabric is so darling.

Check out the cute baby! Aggh, I can't stand it, I love this quilt.

Look at the square blocks, the babies were fussy cut and put in exactly in the middle of the blocks, (I wish I had noticed that in the blue quilt). Kathy is an excellent piecer, the quilts were so straight, and the seams perfect. That makes my job so much easier.

Here's the blue baby! I love this one too, how fun to have a boy and a girl at once!

These little little projects were done by Emily, she always has fun quilts and I enjoy quilting for her, (Emily- I will call you soon, or you can call me and get your quilts. Sorry to post before you saw the quilts or "napkins" in person).

Here's one of the blocks, just some fun funky quilting to go with the bright quilt.

The above three pictures were the backs of the small quilts. Emily uses a kind of suede fabric for her backs and the quilting just pops, it's so fun. I love the back of these quilts.

On a serious note, I was watching the news tonight and heard of the Tsunami and Earthquake in American Samoa. Barb of Bejeweled Quilts lives in Pago Pago and I pray that she and her family are alright, please keep her in your prayers. God bless everyone in that region of the world.

What fun and cute quilts!!!

I, too, was thinking about Barb. It was just one of her recent posts that she described the comfort her husband provided during an earthquake. I pray all is okay with her.

Cute, cute, cute! :)

I heard from Barb~ I sent her an email as soon as I saw the news yesterday. She replied that they are doing good, although much of the island is not. :/
