perfect points
You know that rush you get when your points are absolutely perfect? I'm having that rush now.....I guess I am a little crazy, but the perfectionist in me can't handle not getting the points just right. I can not wait to show you what I am working on! Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

I perfectly know what you mean because I'm the same way! :) In fact I get upset when they don't match and undo the seam to make it better :) Sounds familiar? :D

Awesome.Points. I am doing a strip quilt where none of the points line up. It drove me crazy at first, but i got used to it. I love when my points line up too. Having said that a little imperfection is ok too. Keeps us humble and reminds me that there was ever only one perfect Person.
Going to try a couple of you stencil thingys. I feel like that is my next thing to try. I love FMQ and the freedom it brings, but i want to be able to follow lines weel and have that as an option.
Love seeing your work!

LOVE it when the points match so great! I had some blocks that someone else made that I'm making a quilt from - and I ended up ripping/remaking several blocks because other peoples points didn't line up, LOL. I can forgive a little, but it would have drove me nuts to left chopped-off points :)

Looking forward to seeing more of this quilt!

I thought Green Fairy Quilts was just the place where I went to buy fabric - I didn't know you had a blog until recently (don't ask where my head is at sometimes!!). But I have to tell you that your blog is just wonderful!! I love your creativity and the pictures you share. I, too, have a "thing" that my points need to line up and yours are simply perfect - fantastic job!

Judi wanted to send you link to my latest blog. http://grammaquilter.blogspot.ca/2012/04/sunday-afternoon-fun.html
Last week i purchased some of your stencils. I use a domestic sewing machine so wanted to let you know how i made out. They worked really well. It has opened up a whole new world for me. I love the freedom of FMQ but this gives more options. Your designs are organic which i love. They look beautiful in your quilts. Hopefully more quilters will try them no matter what their quilting style. Thanks again for sharing your journey.

Congratulations on your block being chosen. It does look like a fun block to make. Currently I am working on a Comfort Quilt for my Guild's project, Thanks for a chance to win.

currently choosing fabric for Dutch Dream quilt from Quiltmaker early summer 1992 magazine. Like your block, the orange/brown is really neat.

I am sewing a label on my grandson's quilt (which means it's finished!), working on month 3 of a mystery quilt, making place mats for a friend, and participating in a monthly FMQ challenge.

I think there is a real perception out there that modern=sloppy. Your work is beautiful. To answer your question I am making a block from Fat Quarterly's new book!
