How it works around here..............

Okay - so the big question that I get all the time is "How do you do it all?" Well - I don't. At least I don't run our website, which is the biggest part of our business. I think it's about time that I make sure Clint gets credit for all the hard work he does. He works long days so that I don't have to. I get to be a Mom for my kids.

Here's our inventory - it's organized and if I try to look, or move any of it - I will get in trouble. This may not look like a lot of inventory, but it is always moving with orders out and UPS coming in everyday. Clint knows where everything is, he knows how much we have and he does all the ordering, re-ordering etc.... He answers all your emails (unless you have a quilting question) and takes care of all the customer service.

Shipping supplies and paper - again, organized. Clint is a super organized person and I am the complete opposite of that. I won't show you my desk right now! ;)

Here he is filling your orders - he has quite the system - he tried to teach me once, but I didn't do as well as he would like. :) So, if you are ever wondering who packs your fabric - Clint does, and he's a one man show. He tries to get everything out as soon as possible, but he is just one man!

He packs the orders and puts them by the door - then he bags them up and the postman comes to our door and takes the packages from there.

One of Clint's favorite things is to put a pin in every country he has shipped to. He had a pin for every state in the United States, but it looked a little cluttered - anyway - black pins for every country we have shipped to and red pins for everywhere Clint has been.

So - there you go - he's an amazing man and I am so glad that we get to work together. I just tell people that I get do the fun part of our business - I get to design and long arm quilt and keep up this blog. Which reminds me - I have to get a lot done!

Wow! I'm not sure organized is the word. Surely there is a word that is......well - MORE! Or maybe we should say he's "organized to infinity and beyond"?

Nice! How can you resist those lovely precuts? I know you must sneak in there in the middle of the night!

Talk about organized. When I had an ebay store years ago, I would go nuts if I wasn't organized.

I like the map, it's cute. Thanks Clint for packing up my orders with care!

it must be nice to be able to work from home - and together doing something that you both like to do. And because of it all you are able to raise your children yourself and not have to spend money on daycare and/or sitters.

Lucky you Judi, thanks Clint for your quick action, I was pleased at how quickly my order arrived here in Stratford Ontario and I am working with that jelly roll right now. I also like getting my fabric delivered to my door.

I so enjoyed seeing how things were run...I love organization which I have very little of but envious of those that do. I love the fact that you get to be a mom first....and that he makes sure you do get to do that. I see that he works very hard and well...it works...you both are a good pair together....you are a wonderful couple.

I love that you two are such a great team! And I noticed you don't have Italy marked on your map. I've ordered fabric from you before, while living in Italy. (But you ship it to an APO address bc my husband is in the military.) So technically you HAVE shipped to Italy. =)

Thank you for the peek into behind the scenes. It looks like a lot of work, & I appreciate it, because I love buying from you.
How nice you get to work together.

Gosh, that is organised. Wish I had someone like that to organise me. I can't enlarge the map to see if I've been pinned. I had my package safe and sound a couple of weeks ago, and Wales, like England and Scotland, is actually a country within the UK so you can stick an extra pin in there if you want to count it as a separate country

WOW that is amazing, I take my hat off to your hubby, what a grand chap he is, can he come and organise my sewing room for me please?
I love the look of all that post by your door.

Clint is the man!!! WOW! You two have a great thing going. My address is a 607th Weather Squadron which is in Korea. You have shipped here (APO) and I think I saw a pin on Seoul, Korea but make sure you have it covered. I have pre-ordered some sherbet pips and can't wait.

Thank you and Good luck!
