Quilting Feather Circle Video

So, here is a quilting video for you! I didn't smile once, but really it was just because of nerves! I hope this is helpful as you make your feather circles! Let me know what you think!

Okay- I used a blue water pen on this customer quilt. I haven't had any trouble with the pens, I have always been able to get the blue pen out, even if I have had to spray twice and rub it with a clean cloth. Just wanted to make that clear.

Fantastic video! I'd love to see more of this sort of thing on your blog for sure! Are you nervous about using blue pen on customer's quilts? I know you used the blue spray bottle but I've heard horror stories about it coming back through batting later. Thanks for sharing!

I always use the blue washout marker...and after MANY years machine quilting, I have found nothing that works as well. Great video.

I believe that I could sit and watch you quilt all day. now my problem is....when you go back over a stitch...how do you get it exact? I have problems with that....your foot much be open to where you can see and you have a good eye?

Thanks for the great video Judi - you did a great job. I always wondered about the blue pen and was afraid to use it in case it didn't come out.

This is a great video, it really clarified some things for me about circles and feathers. What set up do you have and do you have a stitch regulator?
