Sneak Peek of things to come........

I have some blocks and strips all waiting to be put together. Could this have something to do with a new pattern and a giveaway? Ummmm maybe, stay tuned.! Oh, it's obvious I am using a jelly roll, I think I know where to get cute jelly rolls at a great price, Green Fairy Quilts! Check them out at our new low price.

I took my little girl to the fabric store today to get a new project, not like I don't have plenty of fabric, and projects right? Well, to spice life up you have to have projects lined up. And these fabrics just spoke to me, they are all Moda, but not from the same line and I can't wait to show you the finished project.
Don't worry ladies, these projects will not detract from your quilts! I got four customer quilts done this week and will get that many done next week, crossing my fingers now :)

I love these fabrics, my little girl noticed these cute lady bugs and told me how much she wanted them, I couldn't resist. So, I am thinking a fun tutorial for a fast project on these, maybe next week? Do you think I am putting too much on myself? Naaa, it keeps me sane, or insane depending on who you ask. (Don't ask Clint! :)

Just for fun, are you a Mom? I never understood why my mom was so bothered when I begged for food off her plate, now I know why. I can't sit down and eat food without the vultures coming to beg, and no matter what food it is, it's always better when Mom wants to sit down to eat.

(I know, the onesie is too big for my little guy, but it's Saturday and I don't care what the kids wear on Saturday.)

Have a great weekend!

Holy cow! I need to just tell you, one of my patterns will be in Quilter's World at some future time, I will fill in the details when the time is closer, I am so excited because it will be my first magazine appearance.

Congrats on the magazine!! I don't remember my kids begging for food off my plate but they probably did. However, that said, Savannah (my little granddaughter) does it all the time. Just like you said, no matter what I eat, no matter where, she wants some. She just turned a year and looks about the size of your littlest one! Don't blink bz he'll outgrow that onesie before you know it!! LOL! I'm excited to see what you do with these fabrics and I have to find some of that lady bug fabric. Which line of Moda is it?

The ladybugs ARE cute.
Can't wait to see the issue of Quilter's World.

I am also a mom, but my kids are teens. I have always had a few things to eat that none of them liked so I could always enjoy them all to myself. Well, suddenly, the 16 year old decides to like all of them! Now, she always wants some of mine and I have to share.

Congratulations on your Quilters World submission. That is one magazine I have a sub for, woo-hoo. Can't wait to see what new projects are brewing.

Congrats on the mag submission!

My kids always begged for food off my plate when hey were little. When my youngest was little, that was the only way he would eat. I used to put my food on one side of the plate and something for him over on the other side. When he got a bit bigger (3 or so) he would use his own fork and feed himself off my plate too. I'm so glad he has his own food.plate now (he's 10)

I agree with most anything goes on Saturdays. I used to let the kids pick out their own clothes when we were staying home for the day. It gave them some power over what they wear and made it easier on me when they had to wear what I put out for them. Now that they are older I let them wear whatever they want as long as it is appropriate for the occasion. I just remind them that they have to deal with any criticism that might arise because of it :)

Love the new fabrics Judi, especially the lady bugs, your little girl has great taste. As for the begging off mom's plate, well of course it tastes better, I mean, your MOM!!! The onesie looks just fine to me, wonderfully comfortable for any day of the week. Last of all a huge CONGRATULATIONS on the Quilter's World news. I can't wait to see what it is. Well done!!!

Congratulations on getting into Quilter's World. It is one of my favorite mags. Also, both my children of yore and my four footed children of now begged for food from my plate but it did them no good. We all eat off or out of our own plates.

Good for you on the magazine feature. I can't imagine how you have time to raise three little ones and still do all the quilting and creating that you do. Way to go!

I love the ladybug fabric! I completely understand about the vultures. We have 3 and our youngest has discovered solid foods. Is it bad to hide and eat a snack in peace? LOL
