Home office update!

So, here is our updated office. Clint worked hard putting the desks together. We got the black desk for Clint and the white one for me. They may not match completely, (at all) but we are so happy with our new space. It's in our bedroom as you can tell, the quilting machine is in here too. So, now you know that we don't really have a bedroom, but we make it work. One day we will have a home office, and a grand quilt studio for me. Clint surprised me with a new monitor and the promise of EQ6 soon. I say, what's another $150? I want it now. I love spending money, it's the earning part that isn't as much fun. (So make it easier for me, and go buy something off my website please???!!!!)

Do you like my mouse pad? Actually, Clint has claimed it, but I will get it one day!

You keep reminding me of our younger years in the military! You make what you have work at the time. If there is a will; there is a way! Clint sounds like a keeper from all that you keep telling me. Someday you will get that studio and his office. We have ours finally after 20 something years!
Oh about the mouse pads...I think it would be fun to have those made for your website sales. I know that Amy Bradley Designs had some a few years ago. Just a thought...(got to make that money right?)

Very nice "His and Hers" desks. I love your quilt on the wall. Little by little things will work out :-)

I love the mouse pad!! Too cute. Our bedroom doubles as a laundry folding center, LOL!! I need to break myself of that when Trav leaves on his mission but until then it works for now and is the most convenient place to fold laundry! We all do what we have to do. For years we had a desk in our master bedroom until we built this house so I know how it is. I'd take the long-arm anyday in my bedroom if I could have one! LOL! I'm saving for one so someday I'll get one. For now I just took a machine quilting class for my little machine. At least I can do table runners and small things until I get one! Wish me luck on learning the art of quilting!

the office/bedroom is something that a lot of people have and make it work. You have to make use of the space that you have! It is looking good, and I like the wall hanging.

That is so great - I WISH we had that kind of organization. That mousepad is very cute, too. The white desk is closer to all the sunshine coming in!

Well, even though we have been married 41 years next month, I also remember 'making things work'. We all do what we can with what we have and you have made a wonderful work space. I can almost feel your longing for your own quilt studio Judi...it takes time, but it will come. I think you have a brilliant quilting career ahead of you, along with your wonderful patterns. And that mouse pad...wayyyyyy cute. You should have a give away for a couple of them and add them to your stores inventory. Really!!!
