I guess this is why my Mama always said......

"Take your socks off or put some shoes on before you go outside."

I need to start enforcing that rule or my little guy won't have any socks left to wear.

My back aches! I have been bent over this quilt for over ten hours! This quilt was a monster to quilt, but I love how it turned out. The border took the longest time because I did tiny loop stippling everywhere except the flowers and now they pop out so nicely.

I am going to go to bed early for once because my back needs a rest and because we are losing an hour, (I don't like day-light savings time) so everyone have a wonderful weekend!

Spring is in the air!

I walked outside today and saw the gorgeous blossoms on our tree. I am so excited for spring, it comes around a little earlier here and I love it. My parents are still dealing with snow up north from here and I can tell you I do not miss the snow.

I love blossoms, I love flowers!

These cute little flowers are growing in our rock landscaping.

Spring has to be the best time of year. New growth, new life. I designed this quilt with Spring in mind and I called it "Morning Bloom."

I love this quilt!

I love my pattern called "Grace" and I love it because it is so easy to make and really has a fun feel to it. I have sold this pattern a lot and today I finished quilting the green and brown "Grace" sewn by Sue Gibson. I love this quilt. It is so fun to see what color combos quilters come up to make each quilt their own. I love, love, love this quilt in the green and brown. I want to keep it for myself, but I guess I can't right?

Proof that I can hand quilt!

This is one of my first quilts. I loved squares because they were easy and I was crazy about brights. This quilt has been used and abused by my little girl, but I think it looks pretty good for being five years old. I did hand quilt this and as much fun as that was, I will never do it again because I love getting things done fast and you all know that hand quilting takes time.
