Dear Jane...revisited!!!

Finished Dear Jane

Photo - courtesy of Gwen.

It's amazing to me still that I worked on this quilt. Seriously - I had to recover after this one because of how long it took me to quilt. But, it was well worth it and it is a beautiful quilt. So, when Gwen told me her quilt was finished I just had to share it with you. I am still getting comments on the quilt and it has been shared around a ton of quilting forums around the internet. So - I love how it was finished - wish it was mine - still.

Hey, we have a little sale going on in the shop and it's the last day to get Jelly Rolls for $27.50 - so, head on over!

That is one of the most incredible quilts I've ever seen! I wouldn't even know where to begin to come up with the colors and placements and stuff. Guess I'm still too new at this, but WOW, well done!

I've always like the Dear Jane quilt done in the Civil War repro fabrics but I like it even more done in those brights! It's so happy looking.

the Dear Jane quilt is absolutely beautiful! It is gorgeous in modern fabric! I would love to see the machine quilting up close or the back if it is plain fabric. Thanks for sharing!

What amazing teamwork...fabulous piecing and fabulous quilting as well. Inspiring.
Judi, I hope you will do an extended blog on how you approached this design challenge, what drove your decisions, and how you did the intricate quilting, particularly of the outer curved sections, without running into distorions. Lots of close up photos would be wonderful.

This is probably one of the most gorgeous DJ quilts I've seen. In fact, it inspired me to finally quilt my own DJ in a similar fashion, Mine is now done and hanging where I see it every day. Love it! Thanks for the inspiration.....I admire your awesome talent!
