Anxiety in all forms.................

"Dear Jane" anxiety to be exact. I don't know if you realize the pressure that comes with quilting a quilt like this - seriously - months of piecing go into this and Gwen did a fabulous job putting this "Dear Jane" together and now it's on the frames just staring at me. I am hoping the inspiration hits me tonight and the nerves go away..........

Whatever the outcome - I hope Gwen loves it!

Anxiety in another form - new line in and I can't sew on it right now. I must have this line! Well - I kind of do have it, but Clint would rather sell it to our customers. So, go get yourself some "Hullabaloo" by Urban Chiks - it is soooooo cute.

Hi Judi

I love the quilt your Mum made, it must be wonderful to receive a quilt and from a special person like your Mum.
I love giving quilts and am often told oh no won't make you a quilt you can make your own, sad face here right now ( just turned 50 and was living in hope, oh well)
So enjoy this wonderful gift.
Also can I ask do you always float your quilts?
Happy stitching on the Dear Jane I am sure you are going to do a wonderful job.

cheers
Christine

Judi, I feel your pain/ anxiety. I had a sewing business for years and one day this lady brought me a piece of silk - irreplacable, very expensive, one she'd been saving for years and wanted me to make her the perfect dress. Too much pressure. But you are so gifted, I'm sure inspiration will hit. The quilt looks wonderful. Tell Clint my order came in perfect shape and in record time - I love my Buttercup!!

Just lift your head and look at the gorgeous quilt on your wall, realize how good you are at what you do, and hopefully those nerves will disappear. I have no doubt that you'll do your usual beautiful work!

You will do fine! Have confidence! But I know how you must be feeling. It's an awesome responsibility to finish someone's vision for them.

That Dear Jane is amazing! Is it primarily Kaffe Fabrics?

Deborah said...

Not only is it "That Quilt" it is "That Quilt" with Kaffe. I can't wait to see what my favorite quilter does with my favorite quilt.

That DJ is gorgeous! It is one quilt that is on my "bucket list" and this one is beautiful. I am sure you will do an incredible job with it.

Hello, Can you please tell me what the quilt is on the wall behind the Dear Jane quilt?

I haven't quilted a DJ but I did quilt a Dear Sylvia for a customer once. I quilted it custom as you are doing this one. The customer is making her 2nd quilt now and I am anxious to see it on my frame. But how do I quilt it so it isn't the same as her first!! argghh... It is a dilema but they are fun dilemas. :)

I love how you are quilting this one!
