Down and Out!! And some new products.

I haven't gotten too much done the past week because I have been sick. Aggh! Nasty old cold with the fever, aches and shakes! Luckily for me I have the best husband because Thursday morning last week I just couldn't get out of bed and facing a day with three rambunctious kids sounded quite scary. So without me asking, he got up and fed the kids breakfast, lunch and dinner; changed every diaper that day and got me everything I needed. What a man I have! Thanks Clint for making my life easier.
I was sure that I would feel better by now, but now the aches and shakes have turned into a terrible cough! I finally got back to the long-arm tonight, it's been staring at me since Wednesday reminding me of all the quilts backed up, but hopefully each day can get a little easier. Oh, and sorry for the lack of quilting pictures, I will have some soon.

On a happy note we got in some darling new Moda pre-cuts. I really want to make something out of everything we get in, but where is the time? I will leave that to you, so go and check out Botany, Cherish Nature, Martinique, and Hunky Dory, we have them in Jelly Rolls, Layer Cakes, and Charm Packs.

YOu are one lucky gal, there were countless times that I had to take care of kids being sick because husband was not around.

Get well soon!!

So sorry you've been sick. We had the flu here this weekend that's lingered. The weird thing is it hit my husband, then a few hours later me, and then a few hours later my daughter. We keep thinking we're over it and then we get chills and fever again. It's the nastiest flu strain we've ever had. Usually when it lingers for days it's bz someone else got it. I guess I should be grateful that we got it all at once and that we're all old enough to take care of ourselves :) I am jealous of your pampering though when you were sick. In almost 28 years of marriage that's never been known to happen around here. Dang.

What a keeper! I always keep ColdFX on hand for cold symptoms and for years now, I haven't had a cold. I don't know why it works but it does and it's totally natural. Too late now, but with a young family, it's good to keep on hand..keep the tissue companies stock in good hands.

I'm so excited, I just ordered 2 charm packs of Spring Fever! I love this line by Moda. I have a new granddaughter coming so now I need to hurry and find the rest of the fabric for the quilt! I'm excited to see what all the fabric is in the free charm pack too! What a deal at Green Fairy Quilts today! Thanks Judi! Cindy
