Muertos

I don't have to tell you that there is a lot going on with this quilt. It's a super fun quilt done by Emily and I had a lot of fun quilting it. I feel bad I haven't blogged about it until now, but you know, life is crazy and I am trying to get a lot done before Christmas so I can have a little bit of a holiday break.

There is so much going on and these picture only show a portion of the quilting involved in this quilt. It was really fun. Emily called it Muertos and the whole time I stood at the quilt and looked at it the movie "Undercover Blues" played in my head because Stanley Tucci plays a crazy criminal called "Muerte" and he insist on everyone knowing that "Muerte" means death. It's a really funny movie, so you should watch it! Anyway, there you go, I have been busy, but just slacking on the pictures. Sorry!

I love this. The quilt and the quilting are gorgeous. As I plan to retire to Mexico, I do know about Muertos. This quilt celebrates Dia de los Muertos in a great way.

That was really a lot of custom quilting, it must have taken some time. We, too, love that movie and can hear "my name is Muerte" running through our heads and frequently out our mouths. ;-)
