My tree is ready, but I am not...............
I love my Christmas tree, about six years ago my sister Jen took me to Taiwan Imports and we got everything I needed for my Christmas tree, she decorated it to perfection. Each year I add a couple more things to it and try to make it look good compared to the original one Jen designed. I had to let go of some of my control and let the kids decorate with me, Lili really enjoyed it and she helped me put everything on. We had a great time, now we are just spending all day telling the boys not to touch the tree, (how many more days til Christmas again??)
So, the tree is up, I haven't even thought about what to get Clint yet, the kids, well, we will come up with something I am sure. Did I ever tell you that I hate shopping? Well, I hate shopping for anything other than fabric. Thankfully Clint does all the grocery shopping, anyway, point is I wait until the last week to finish shopping for Christmas and each year I plan on being better and being finished before the week of Christmas. But, once a procrastinator, always a procrastinator right?
Oh, and I have to apologize for the valance hanging above my window (it's horrible). Clint took some would be bags from years ago and pinned them to a 2 x 2 and stuck them above the window to motivate me to make something for the window. That's been months now, and who has time to do their own projects? I wish I did.

I remember! Tell Lili I am proud of her and she did a great job! (and yes I am up this late and on the computer)
Love your Tree and well, I am not much of a shopper either....but I have become a good online shopper to my husband's dismay!!
Beautiful Christmas Tree!! And what a wonderful memory of decorating it together with Lili!! It just makes it even more special.

the tree looks great! 24 days til Christmas. Darn, I wish you hadn't made me think about that.
your tree is beautiful, I let E decorate ours and I vow not to touch it or fix it. So what if it's missing ornaments in LOTS of places. haha
the tree looks wonderful. I hate Christmas shopping and do little of any other kind of shopping other than grocerys which I don't mind shopping for in the least.
In December the UPS man becomes my best friend as I normally end up doing almost all of my shopping on line and avoid the stores.

I think your tree is beautiful! I am still working on mine here. I remember my youngest and his first Christmas. I worried about him touching the tree but he would just crawl over to it and lay back and watch the lights twinkle. lol
Take Care and good luck with the shopping!
I hate shopping too but what I find funny is I get it all done by October so I don't have to think about it! Also, with the way our income falls in the winter after Halloween (stays low until February) I need to make sure it's all tucked away. I procrastinate shopping for clothes and shoes though. I wear mine until they fall about bz I'd rather do any nasty job in this world than shop for clothes or shoes for myself! So how did you bribe Clint to do all the grocery shopping?! :)
Okay, so I'm already tired. Make that "I get it all done by October 31st" and "I wear mine until they fall apart." Sheesh, it's going to be a long day!
Love your tree! I don't like shopping either but I usually go kicking & screaming and then discover it wasn't so bad. LOL
Your tree is simply beautiful; a delight to see.
Gorgeous Tree, I love the red decorations. Your sister did good!!
What a pretty tree...I love the way plaids in with the candy canes and beaded garland. It looks great!
