"Dear Jane" anxiety to be exact. I don't know if you realize the pressure that comes with quilting a quilt like this - seriously - months of piecing go into this and Gwen did a fabulous job putting this "Dear Jane" together and now it's on the frames just staring at me. I am hoping the inspiration hits me tonight and the nerves go away..........
Whatever the outcome - I hope Gwen loves it!
Anxiety in another form - new line in and I can't sew on it right now. I must have this line! Well - I kind of do have it, but Clint would rather sell it to our customers. So, go get yourself some "Hullabaloo" by Urban Chiks - it is soooooo cute.

I'm actually working on a Dear Jane quilt right now. I'm very interested in seeing how it all finishes up! Please post pics when you're done. :)
I hand quilted my first Dear Jane and my second Dear Jane is waiting in line. I will be interested to see how you do this one! Relax :)

Hi Judi
I love the quilt your Mum made, it must be wonderful to receive a quilt and from a special person like your Mum.
I love giving quilts and am often told oh no won't make you a quilt you can make your own, sad face here right now ( just turned 50 and was living in hope, oh well)
So enjoy this wonderful gift.
Also can I ask do you always float your quilts?
Happy stitching on the Dear Jane I am sure you are going to do a wonderful job.
cheers
Christine
Looking forward to seeing this one finished.. I love her color/fabric selection.. I have a Dear Jane or Farmers wife in the back of my mind...just bubbling away. Deciding which one i will do...
Tell Clint that I said to give you a layer cake of that fabric!
I'll be watching to see how you quilt that...I'm currently piecing a DJ quilt myself and fear the day I have to quilt it!
Oh I can feel your anxiety and understandable....but you will make that top shine, no doubts here!
Such a beauty!!! And such responsiblity!!! I know exactly how you feel~but I also know that once you make your decision about the design and thread you will be off and running!! I cannot wait to see it quilted!

That is an amazing Dear Jane quilt! Not seen one made up quite like that before!! I'm sure that whatever you choose it will be beautiful!! oohh.... Urban Chiks are my favourites... I am not so secretly stashing every piece of Swell I can lay my hands on! ;)
Judi, I feel your pain/ anxiety. I had a sewing business for years and one day this lady brought me a piece of silk - irreplacable, very expensive, one she'd been saving for years and wanted me to make her the perfect dress. Too much pressure. But you are so gifted, I'm sure inspiration will hit. The quilt looks wonderful. Tell Clint my order came in perfect shape and in record time - I love my Buttercup!!
That Dear Jane quilt looks amazing...and I hope you'll share more pictures when it's quilted! I love Hullaballoo, too!
Just lift your head and look at the gorgeous quilt on your wall, realize how good you are at what you do, and hopefully those nerves will disappear. I have no doubt that you'll do your usual beautiful work!
You will do fine! Have confidence! But I know how you must be feeling. It's an awesome responsibility to finish someone's vision for them.
That Dear Jane is amazing! Is it primarily Kaffe Fabrics?
Not only is it "That Quilt" it is "That Quilt" with Kaffe. I can't wait to see what my favorite quilter does with my favorite quilt.
I have a Dear Jane coming in next week and I also have no idea how to quilt it! Good luck
If anyone can do justice to that quilt it will be you. Relax and enjoy!
I have never heard of a dear Jane Quilt. The one you have shown looks amazing.
Take a look at what is behind the Dear Jane!! See that ribbon. Insperation will come to you. No worries!!
That quilt seems HUGE...is it? It looks amazing. I can't wait to see the final pictures of this quilt. Oh, I love the hair color too! I think it's time I go back to being a blond gal!!!
That DJ is gorgeous! It is one quilt that is on my "bucket list" and this one is beautiful. I am sure you will do an incredible job with it.
Hello, Can you please tell me what the quilt is on the wall behind the Dear Jane quilt?
I haven't quilted a DJ but I did quilt a Dear Sylvia for a customer once. I quilted it custom as you are doing this one. The customer is making her 2nd quilt now and I am anxious to see it on my frame. But how do I quilt it so it isn't the same as her first!! argghh... It is a dilema but they are fun dilemas. :)
I love how you are quilting this one!
