I went back on Friday and made loads of close-up pix of your quilting. I'm amazed at how you can look at the fabric and break it into motifs. I'm boxed in by the seams. I hope I can branch out and look past the seams. I quilt on a domestic, and I love doing the quilting. I admit that it takes me a lot of time to get to the point of quilting. I have to "talk myself into it", so to speak. Once I'm into it, I can't stop. Often I will just sit and look at the quilt and let it speak to me. Thank you again for the exhibit. Even though I didn't get to meet you, I feel like I know you better now. I will study your books more fully for further inspiration!!!Judi, I'm the one who emailed you while in Paducah.
