My first magazine debut...............

I am so excited to have my "Life of a Snowman" wall hanging pattern featured in "Quilter's World" magazine. I have known since last year that it was going to be in the December 2009 issue and it has been a long wait! So, today I called Barnes and Noble to see if they had the current issue (they did, hurray!) and I took off in my PT Cruiser and went and bought two issues. One magazine for looking and sharing and the other for safe keeping. Yeah, I am so excited! Go out and get yourself a copy, it's a great magazine!

  1. Judi that is so great for you to have a pattern in a magazine. Congratulations. I will have to pick up that issue - from time to time I have seen patterns published by people "I know" in blog land and it makes me feel as though I really know that person!

  4. Judi: This is an adorable pattern! I'm going to go right now and check out Amazon and see if they have it! I hope they carry magazines bz I've never looked. I drive a Petey too! Do you have random people wave at you when they pass you and they're in PT Cruisers too? We do occasionally and it almost feels like Petey drivers belong in a club or something! Maybe it's just Northern Utah drivers that do that but it happens even on the freeway going to Salt Lake! Okay, I'm off to look for this magazine! Cindy

  28. Wow, the December issue!!! They will fly off the shelves and everyone will find you in there. Congratulations!!! I'm going to get some notions that I need tomorrow so I will definitely be picking up a copy for two reasons...first because I love the magazine and want to see your work in there and second, so I can say, well you know I knew Judi before she was totally famous in the quilting world. Well, at least I knew you online, that counts, right? I'm really so happy for you Judi, I keep telling you big things are coming your way and this is just the beginning. God bless. Big Hugs coming your way!
