This was a quilt done by Heather Purcell of Superior Threads. When she commissioned me to do this quilt, I was really nervous because come on, she is the owner of Superior Threads, the best thread out there if I do say so myself.
I did a ton of pebble work to make the quilting stand out.
This was a fun quilt as well, lots of feathers in this one.
I love the little leaves.
The brown triangles are done with the texture magic and they look so cool, (the pictures really don't do them justice!) The fabric is from a new line from Timeless Treasures called Vienna.I don't know why I do this, but I am always so nervous when I give any quilt back to the customer. Whether I am charging right, whether it's too much or too little; whether or not all the work put into the quilt looks good to them. It's really tough sometimes to be a long-arm quilter, but I guess it takes a little confidence and self-worth.

ReplyDeleteI machine quilt too (not as good as you) and I am always nervous to give a customer a quilt too. You just never know if you are going to meet their expectations, and if they are going to be OK with the price!
