Machine Quilting Unlimited has published an awesome issue recently. I am happy to have a small part in it.
The long three year process of publishing my book has been worth the long wait and I never tire of seeing it in print. I am so thankful to all of you for your support through words of encouragement, purchasing my book and following my blog. I can never thank you enough, but I will just say it - THANK YOU!
And, don't forget to read the article about Scalloped Bindings that showcases mine and Gwen's Dear Jane quilt. It is still the most beautiful quilt, seriously. Best part of this magazine coming out now is that I am currently working on another masterpiece by Gwen, the timing could not have been more perfect. I can not wait to finish.
I will leave you with one of my favorite pictures of this Dear Jane quilt. It showcases the scallop quilting beautifully.

Congratulations!
Good for you AND Gwen! I'm not familiar with that publication, but I'm going to look for it now. The cover quilt really catches my eye, and I LOVE that Dear Jane. In fact, I felt very "meh" about the whole Dear Jane craze until I saw Gwen's version with Kaffe Fasset fabrics and your gorgeous quilting -- now I'm tempted to put Dear Jane on MY bucket list as well!
So glad to see you showcased by the magazine: I think you are just a brilliant quilter!! And the picture of the scalloped border is just beautiful!! Hugs, H in Healdsburg
Very well deserved Judi!!!
Wow!! SO beautiful!
I subscribe to this magazine and was so pleased to see the Dear Jane...what beautiful work! And so nice to see your book featured!
Congratulations Judi! That is my favorite Dear Jane. Can't wait to read this issue and when will you show us pics of your new project??
I got both my MQU magazine & your book in the mail last week. Can't wait to spend quality time with both. Your book looks wonderful & worth the wait!
I DID see you mentioned..and I got to crow because I already have a copy of your book..and its SIGNED! :::: big cheesy grin::: My long arm is all well and I'm quilting away, plotting how to use what I learned in your class!
I had not seen that so thanks for the heads up and Congrats! That is one amazing quilt indeed.
Smiles,
Kelly
Thanks for the "heads up" on the magazine. I should just subscribe as I seem to miss the publication dates at my local Barnes & Noble store!!!! Your quilting is totally inspiring!!! (have I said that before???) Exciting sneak peak....now....off to quilt....Uber hugs..................
Gorgeous quilt and quilting. I will have to look for a copy. Did you use a double lay of batting for this quilt?
Congratulations all over again. :0) This quilt is just so mouth waveringly beautiful! And it was great to see it again but with the binding on. Your quilting is stunning.
wow!!!
Congrats on being published again. And yes, that Dear Jane quilt is an absolute stunner!!!
Well deserved!
I have admired your quilting your many years. I have purchased your book and have read and re-read it. I just love the pictures. I am going down to get this magazine tomorrow!
Congratulations to you and Gwen. Her quilt is absolutely stunning and your quilting only added to the beauty.
I saved pictures when you were doing Gwen's quilt and bought the program! And I remember when Brenda Papadakis was looking for the owner to show at the DJ Festival because she thought it was the best Dear Jane she had ever seen... So glad you found each other again and I'm looking forward to see your latest collaboration. Mary D.
Well-deserved recognition for you, Judi! And I so love seeing pictures of that quilt again - it is the most beautiful thing, both the piecing and the quilting!!
Dearest Green Fairy, or Judi,
Your work is simply beautiful. You deserve all the accolades. Looking at your work, I feel terribly inspired and wish I was close enough to attend a course by you. I don't even have a long-arm, but you make me wish I did. How on earth does a person start long-arming? It's such a huge plunge.
Admiring your work,
Michal Erika
