I have had a pretty productive week. I finished 2 more blocks for my Flower Patch Quilt Along. I am so excited that so many of you have joined this quilt along. If you haven't started yet, that is okay. We are taking it slow. I have a total of 4 blocks done right now, and if you check out my Flickr group, several of you already have 2 blocks finished. That is awesome! It is not too late to join, you can buy the Flower Patch PDF pattern right here for $4.95, download it, pull out your scraps and get started!
If you decide you need a layer cake and jelly roll to join in the fun - enter the code word "quiltalong" to receive $5 off our already discounted sale price. The code will only work for the combination of the two precuts ;-)

I love the way these blocks are coming together.
Be sure to share your progress on Flickr - or email me your pictures so I can upload them for you. It is going to be so fun.
One more thing, stay tuned next week because after 7 hours of quilting today - and an aching back, I finished the quilt I started quilting on Monday. Feels great to get a quilt done in one week. Have a great weekend everyone!

Hi Judi,
It took me some days to come back and enter your quilt along. I'm looking forward to it! Let's see what I can find in my stash and leftovers. ;)
Thank you for this very nice idea! :)
Chris
Love your flower blocks!,
I purchased your pattern this week and hope to get started next week!
Out of curiosity how do you sew your blocks together? Are the served or do you use a very close stitch length? Love your work and congratulations on your new book!
