My Bags are Packed Highlight!

I never really got to show this pattern off because I made it really fast and sent it off to Riley Blake Designs for Market last year in the Spring. It is a favorite of mine because of how simple it is to put together. Also - this is a fun design to show off your big prints that you aren't sure what to do with.

It is always fun for me to dig out my designs from storage in the closet and take some pictures. I really don't have the space to keep all of my quilts out - so a photo shoot gives me a chance to remember how fun each design is.

As you can see the quilting is not custom - so rare these days - sometimes I think it would be fun to just stipple a quilt again, but I don't see that happening any time soon.

My Bags are Packed Quilt Pattern

So - for the next few days I am going to have my pattern "My Bags are Packed" on sale for $5.95 - you will have so much fun making this quilt, you can purchase the pattern here.

Is it any wonder that my windows are never clean?

LOL, I thought you were taking another trip, until I realized you were talking about the quilt pattern! I like it!

There will be plenty of time for clean windows later. Now is the time to enjoy those precious little hand prints!

Love the bags! I see your handsom little guy on the window and raise you a boy, a girl, and two dogs!! Cleaning windows is over rated! I'd rather quilt!! Quilt on!!

Judi, you have an eye for quilting design...stippling is just a waste of your talents!

I would love it if you would do a blog post on the process of deciding on a custom quilting design.

In particular, we make a LOT of Disappearing Nine Patch quilts for charity, and usually just stipple them...it would be fab if you could blog about more pretty, interesting ways to quilt these up. We could use some inspiration!

So funny! Very cute. When my four kids were little I remember a friend coming over and after a while, she said"oh for goodness sake Leeanne where is your window cleaner, I can't stand looking at your dirty windows any longer!" That was one way I got my windows clean!

I really like this pattern!! The "bags" reminded me more of picnic baskets!!! I think I might make one with fabric that looks like basket weave in different colors!! Great idea!
