Okay - guilty as charged. I love the texture that quilting creates on quilts. I spend most of my time running my fingers over the quilting (not joking) and end up posting pictures of it when I should be quilting because the kids are asleep!
I just had to share!

ReplyDeleteI'm with you on that! I do the same.
ReplyDeleteYour quilting is perfect! How long does it take you to find the right patterns? Does it "come" when you look at a quilt? Is it there in your hands? I am really impressed of your work. Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeletebrilliant!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I can feel it! You do amazing work. Almost makes me want to learn to machine quilt. Maybe someday. ~karen

ReplyDeleteVery pretty! Do you stop and start when you quilt or do you travel through seams to get to your next space?
ReplyDeleteI love it when you show close ups like that...I can see what you are doing and I too want to feel.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful quilt... I think we all like texture... at least, it's what first drew me in... what is the fabric in your quilt... is it a collection, or fabrics you pulled together... quite lovely...

ReplyDeleteI too am a bit of a nut for the actual quilting in a quilt. This looks just beautiful. :)
ReplyDeleteYour quilting is always gorgeous and I love when you post it too! The texture always makes a quilt feel so much better!
ReplyDeleteabsolutely love this! and I do it too lol.
ReplyDeleteSince starting to LAQ, I appreciate the actual quilting much more than the quilt top itself now. You quilts are amazing. I'm just now starting to LAQ for friends, and I feel so basic & simple. Hopefully one day I can get my quilts as beautiful as yours! I love that you free-hand them all, I only use a pantograph when someone specifically requests a pattern, and it usually doesn't turn out as well as if I could free hand something similar!
ReplyDeleteThe quilting on this is really nice. I love its simlicity and that you can really see the texture!
