Thank you to Barb for giving me the Lemonade Award. I love blogging because I get to know more people and realize how great the quilting community is. I love it.

Check out this fabric. I cut out these 4 1/2 inch strips about five years ago intending to do a quilt, but it became part of the scrap pile and has been through three moves. I am wanting to use it now to do some kind of flower quilt for the HMQS quilt show in Salt Lake City coming up in May. I have a had a great time at that show, last year I got first place in the Edge to Edge machine quilting competition on my "Judi's Album" quilt and I would like to enter again. You can see the close up of the quilting here. The theme of the competition is "Pump up the Color" and I thought these colors would work. Now I just have to decide what to do with these scraps, any suggestions?

I didn't even know they had a quilt show in Salt Lake. I'll have to look into this as I'm in Utah! I'd just love to go look!

Wow, did you hand quilt that quilt you did for the show last year...if so, that is awesome. If not, do you have a long arm? If so, I am jealous and you still did an awesome job. The colors are wonderful that you have chosen....and that ruler of mine...well...that would be my suggestion but you do amazing work without any suggestions from me.
